UGH

Well today at work was not the easiest of days.. it started out well but at the end it didn't go so well. Counting money is my downfall it seems. I have a system that works most of the time but the past couple of days it hasn't come that easy.. especially tonight it wasn't my night.. I got off register at 9 and then it began counting down my drawer.. well every time I counted it down I kept getting different counts so I kept counting and recounting and still couldn't end up with the same amount of money that I needed to get.
SO at 9:30 was told I thought kinda rudely by my supervisor that "its 9:30 we want to go home" well I can understand that she wanted to go home and that with my counting my money it wasn't going to be easy to get out before 10:00 but still the attitude I could have used without but oh well..
so came home in a pissed off mood but I emailed my job coach and we shall see what happens hopefully they can help me find a better system of counting my money better.
other than that I have tomorrow off and then work wednesday (PAY DAY BABY) then thursday have friday and saturday off and my sister comes home from NYC where she works as a Nanny and has been in Cape Cod and the Hamptons this summer so I am looking forward to seeing her and catching up a bit with her while she is home.
Well it is late in the evening ( sorry for the paul simon reference) was listening to him earlier and need to get some sleep.

looking back on a year gone past

So lets see whats been up with me .. well as another holiday season draws closer to an end, I am looking back on the year that was. It started out with me loosing a job coincidentally on new years eve day of 2009 and then a month later I began working as free lance videographer which I still do to this very day. In April I resumed my umpiring for a 7th year in a row and also had a wonderful and exciting trip to visit my sister in new york city. I continued umpiring till mid july when I was part of my first theatrical production in over a year. I loved being part of the cast of 42nd St and also while doing that became part of another cast, this one for Barber of Seville. Both shows brought a new widening of my horizons and brought new friends and oppertunities into my life In October I had my 26th birthday and it was another wonderful time.. In November I took myself to see my first concert in over 5 years when Rockapella came to town. I also celebrated the one year anniversary of ...

Why Kevin Youkillis is the perfect blueprint for how Red Sox should handle Rafael Devers

photo credit: Cincinnati Enquier^.com Kevin Youkilis over 8.5 years with the Red Sox provided grit, determination, ^ a power-bat. Yet it was his defensive versatility that let the Red Sox get better. When the Red Sox drafted Kevin Youkilis out of the University of Cincinnati where he put together a .410/.549/.714/1.263 offensive stat line. Yet it was the fact that Youkilis also led the nation with 59 walks compared to just striking out just 21 times, that attracted then-GM Theo Epstein to draft the young third baseman in the 8th round of the 2001 draft. Youkilis would spend three seasons in the minors before reaching the M ajors during the 2004 season, where he would play a minor role that season during the team's championship run, appearing in 72 games that year , hitting .260 with 7 home-^runs driving in 35. Yet between 2007 and 2011 is when Youkilis would truly prove to be one of the best players in the game.  Over that five years, Youkilis would average 1...
Soo as we start the beginning of week #3 I have come to the realization that as much as I want to be like all the other guys who are here umpiring, I need to be able to listen to my body and adjust certain things to make it possible to actually umpire correctly.  My knee is still in one place the swelling has continued to go down but the soreness is still there. Hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday I can slowly start ramping it up again and won't have lost too much time.
